About Sizing

It is very important with riding halters and bitless bridles to choose the right size. Here is a basic rundown of which sizes will suit what horses.

Mini suits actual miniatures

Shetland/small pony suits shetlands and little ponies like welsh A,s

Larger pony suits most ponies 12-13.2hh and very tiny arab heads.

Cob suits 13.2hh-15hh and most smaller arabs.

Large cob fits most horses around the 15hh mark. Fits most, we use this size on all our horses from 14.2hh-16hh anglos.

Full suits horses around 16hh T/B ect and big quarter horses.

XL full suits heavy breeds and very big warmblood types.

I suggest that for English Gypsy style cobs or any order outside of Australia you have your order custom made.  If you already own a halter you love the fit regardless of your horses breed im more than happy to make your new one to the same measurements. Measure between the knots, not including like picture A.

Otherwise measure your horses actual nose right around up nice and high where you want it to sit, then from one side of the noseband up over the poll and back to the other side of the noseband. Like photo B.
